Father of the Bride.co.uk was founded in early 2003. The site is run by a small team of creative, comedy and speech writers – all with many years experience in speech writing. We launched this site with one aim in mind - to make sure that when the big day arrives you have an outstanding speech which will be a highlight of the wedding, and make your daughter very proud of you.

Our background was originally writing speeches, comedy and plays for radio and TV in the UK, and in 1998 we found that more and more people were asking us to write wedding speeches. Two years later we launched our highly successful Best Man Speech UK website, which quickly became the number one Best Man speech site on the internet.

During all of our Best Man speech work, we started working with a large number of people on Father of the Bride speeches. In no time at all, this became a huge part of our work, which led us to launch Father of the Bride.co.uk. We now have a dedicated team of writers working on the site, and helping out clients with Father of the Bride speeches all over the UK - and the rest of the world!
